The water base finish we use is very easy to maintain. No waxing is required. Weekly dust mopping or vacuuming with a brush attachment is sufficient. For stubborn stains, occasionally damp mop floors with plain water or 1/4 cup of Windex per gallon of water. Area rugs can be used on hardwood floors after the finish has cured, in about two weeks. Keep walk off mats at all entrances or exits to home in order to keep dirt and grit off your wood floors. You can also apply carpet glides on the bottom of your chair and table legs to avoid scratching floors.
