Capitol Hill Floor Co. was established in 1979 by George Strong, after gaining knowledge from two previous floor companies that employed him in sales and management.

We provide flooring services to residential, commercial and governmental clients in the Washington metropolitan area. We specialize in hardwood flooring, providing services such as: patching, sand and refinishing, staining with basic and custom colors, and installing all types of natural wood flooring. Our motto is “We make old floors look like new. The more you look the more you like.”

We also supply and install commercial and residential vinyl tiles, ceramic tiles and commercial rubber tiles from various manufacturers such as Armstrong, Tarkett, Johnsonite, Dal-Tile and others.

Finally, we install commercial and residential carpeting with padding or glue down directly from a variety of manufacturers such as Aladdin, Dave Hockstein, Philadelphia and others.
